Aurora Energy

We would really like to see our townhouse on the website. Then others can see that being energy efficient is not just for the big houses or businesses. A small house can be green as well. The environment is important to us and we try to live green as much as possible.

The installation of our solar water heating system has saved us an average of $200 per month, and the panels are placed where you cannot see them at all from the ground. I really am pleased with Aurora Energy.

Mahjouri was very helpful both before and after the sale.

We also had a 64 sq ft solar water heating system installed by Aurora Energy,LLC in Jan,06 and give the highest rating for this installation. We will highly recommend Aurora Energy, LLC to anyone considering a solar PV and/or solar water heating system. We were very pleased with every phase of the installations and look forward to reducing our annual electric cost. With fossil fuels becoming more expensive and finite, I believe local & state gov`ts. should consider requring renewable energy installations for all new homes and commercial buildings.

Didn`t need a building permit.

My husband and I had done some research into solar - Aurora was the only contractor whom we contacted who both responded and came out prior to any contract to assess site and discuss options. Isaac Opalinsky and his partner Jason were great; they were careful to clean up, and used good safety practices. We had thought about this for years, and finally had the means to proceed. We were nudged to go ahead with rising energy costs, incentive package, and seeing the Soalr Decathalon in Washington was the final impetus. We are as delighted with this (the PV array and Aurora Energy, as we are with our Prius.

Fariborz Mahjouri was very helpful through all phases of project planning and installation...and the system has been working great!

Dr Mahjouri was always available and extremely helpful in explaining the solar process to my wife and myself and answering any questions we had. The system is working great.

The system was installed early 1990`s

I did have a few leaks in the system which were taken care of quickly and without incident. The installer and salesperson were both wonderful to deal with.

self installed

Helpful in design and honest about best application for the technology. More interested in helping the customer make the correct choice than making a sale.

Plse note this was a school demo project that was tied to county and school system requirements and bureaucracy. Time line and schedule was substantially out of the control form most of design, permit approval, etc. Once all that was resolved, the installation was on time and perfect. Plse remember this was a small demo project installation for a school so many of these questions are simply not relevant.
