Arcadia Solar

So my inverter has failed once again! This is the second inverter that has failed on my system in less than 2 years and the only thing I got told was the inverter they use is the best product out there, well the best product or any product except for cheap products fail on a consistent basis. I asked the service department what the lifespan of these inverters was and he couldn't tell me. For the last inverter that failed I had to wait multiple weeks for the new one to be delivered and Arcadia installed it when it came in, luckily it was in the winter so we only paid one month to NV Energy. Now my current inverter has also failed and I am paying over $300 plus the solar loan when I talked to customer service this time they said they do not do the installation on warranty items so now I have to wait another week after I receive the inverter for someone to contact me from I am not sure where to set up the install so I might end up paying another $330 energy bill. The reason to get solar is to reduce the cost of your energy bill if I had known this would be a consistent problem I would of just not gotten solar panels.

I was excited about getting solar panels until I realized I didn't get what I thought I was getting! I was told by one of the companies representives that this was going to save me money when in reality it has cost me more! Was told I would just have the payment of the panels and then would just have to pay srp the use of their box outside. For months my electric bill has gone up and when I finally called Arcadia about my panels I learned that I only have enough panels to off set 50% not 100% Had I known my house was not a good fit I would have never gotten them!!!! Not to mention that the loan through goodleap didn't bother to tell me that the tax right off that im supposed to send to them to keep my bill low does not come all in one year! So I have to come up with $7500 so my payment doesnt go up! I'm so irritated about all of this that I don't want these panels anymore!!! I totally got screwed and its cost me money I dont have!

My Solar stopped producing September 13, appointment made for October 9 to fix. Over 3 weeks of not producing and Arcadia fails to come to the appointment they set up. I do not recommend.

Sales people dont tell you that on cloudy days pannels dont generate energy and you pay high energy bill from power conpny!!
