Outstanding Experience with American Array Solar! I had a great experience working with American Array Solar for our solar installation. Right from the start, I was impressed by their straightforward pricing and how clear and responsive they were in answering all of my questions about the process—no hidden fees or complicated sales games. I want to give a special acknowledgment to Adam, who provided above-and-beyond quality service throughout the entire project. When our local city inspector started being exceptionally difficult and throwing up unexpected roadblocks, Adam stepped up without hesitation. He put in significant extra time and effort to resolve every issue directly and get everything pushed through to completion. American Array did a really great job on my solar project. The whole project was completed on time, and honestly some of the delays during the process were probably because of me - I asked a lot of questions because I wanted to understand everything clearly before moving forward. What I appreciated most was their patience. They took the time to answer all of my questions before, during, and even after the project was finished. I had a lot of them, and they were always respectful, helpful, and willing to explain things. They also handled all of my requests exactly the way I wanted. Nothing was ignored, and I always felt like they were actually listening to what was important to me. The quality of the work was excellent. Their team was professional, organized, and the installation looks very clean. I also compared quotes from about 7 different solar companies, and American Array ended up being the best combination of reasonable price, clear communication, and solid technical answers. Special thanks to Alam - he was incredibly patient with all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and was very helpful during the whole design/decision process. In the end, the system is working even better than I expected on paper, which is the best result I could hope for. I’m very happy I chose them and would definitely recommend them.

I had a complex, risky solar residential project spanning multiple years and much uncertainty but I was lucky to find the right partner with American Array. Let me tell you what I had to deal with and how American Array helped. - Project started in 2023 to get into grandfathered NEM 2.0, but installation date was uncertain (at 1-2 years away). - House expansion (w/ additional roof) and remodel was planned, so solar installer needed to design solar panel layout and estimate electricity usage when new roof only existed in architecture drawings and no prior energy usage to estimate from. - House remodel did not start until mid-2024, so panels could not be installed until new roof was built in late 2024. - The home's electrical lines were underground, so trenching and conduit installation was required to replace the old 100A lines. This was a 1+ year timeline that required four PG&E inspections and lots of work. - Federal tax credit expiring end of 2025, so installation needed to be completed before 2026. Both American Array and I pushed PG&E very hard to get the inspections scheduled and clearly defined requirements, which you can imagine was not easy to deal with. I have friends who dealt with PG&E and there is no getting around their delays, no matter how much influence you have. Imagine having to deal with not one but four separate PG&E inspections! In the meantime I worked with American Array's electricians, panel installers and project managers. Everyone was friendly to deal with, answered my many questions throughout the process. It is nice dealing with real human beings who care about the quality of their work, so thank you. I specifically want to thank Mary from American Array who worked tirelessly on my behalf to get this project done. I really do appreciate your efforts and I hope you see this review!!

Great loved it saved tons

I was told that on my rebate from the state will pay for finance

that was not true I only received a tax credit, not cash. which left me with a $80.00 increase on monthly finance bill after 18 months.

Smooth as butter!!

We initially planned to go solar with a different company, when a few days into the process they kept hiking up the price. That is when we contacted American Array Solar and they gave us a great price and kept their word. The whole team from the Sales Manager, to the installers and the office staff were professional from day one and super responsive. They were proactive in keeping me updated and responded to my questions promptly. I highly recommend them to everyone.
