5 Stars – Outstanding Solar Experience!
I highly recommend working with Alternative Energy Southeast. We hired them in Spring 2025 to install solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall battery backup system for our home, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. From our first consultation with Adam to the final installation, their team was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly responsive. They took the time to walk us through every step of the process, answering all our questions and helping us understand exactly how the system would work for our home and energy needs. The installation itself was smooth and efficient, with minimal disruption to our day-to-day life. The crew was punctual, respectful, and clearly skilled in their work. Within a short time, our system was up and running—and it’s been performing flawlessly ever since. What I appreciate most is the peace of mind this brings. Knowing that we’re reducing our environmental impact and that we have a reliable backup power source during outages is incredibly reassuring. The Powerwall gives us added energy independence and security, which feels especially important these days. Alternative Energy Southeast exceeded our expectations in every way. Great Company to do Business With

AES Great Solar Energy Equipment Installation
Alternative Energy Southeast, installed at our home, 14 x Q.PEAK DUO BLK ML-G10+ 400 Solar Panels, 1 x Sol-Ark 15K Inverter, and 2 x ARK Battery 100AH-48V. They did great job, and we are very pleased with the very low cost of electricity we now pay every month. In some month we are receiving money because we are generating more electricity than what we consume!

Respectful, insightful, thought-partner in designing our system
AES has been an exceptional partner in helping us design the solar and battery system that best meets our needs. Over several months and multiple phone calls, emails, video chats, and a site visit, they educated us extensively on possible options and helped narrow and tailor a system that best meets our goals of sustainability, saving money, and having backup power during outages. Great Service to restore data collection through solar edge
My Solar edge had stopped transmitting data since May 4. I had a good discussion on the phone with Lauren to discuss my options to fix it. Since I had recently changed my Router, I needed to reprogram it. I could not and they sent a technician out. The technician evaluated the problem and the need to update my Wi-Fi extender. He made a good recommendation to install a physical line from my Inverter to my Router so that I do not have future problems again if I changed my router. He did a fantastic job to install the line with minimal view of the installed line. Great job all round!!!

Trustworthy local company; high-quality service & support
AES installed solar for my home, and also an EV car charger that has the option of only charging off of excess production from my array (i.e., no need to draw from the grid!). AES's support and service have been incredibly high-level. Their team is genuinely interested in providing a high level of service and ensuring everything works well. I had some hiccups with the EV charger, but the problem was with the equipment and the manufacturer; regardless, the AES team put long hours into it and completely fixed it, at no additional cost to me. You know the saying 'think globally, act locally'? I can't imagine going with a national company. AES is local, and they've been consistently there for me. A++++

Home Solar
I have nothing but positive feedback for this company. Starting with my sales consultant and all through the process, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The project manager kept me updated. The solar panel installers were excellent and on time as were the backup battery install team. Both teams were respectful of being in and around my house. Also, everyone was responsive and patient with all my questions. I’m glad I used this company.

Reviewing Solar and choosing a Solar Contractor
I began looking into placing solar panels on my house in May. Alternative Energy Southeast, Inc was quick to contact me and began working up a quote for the installation I was looking for. They have been very professional and informative throughout the entire process. They just completed the permitting for the project and will start to install before the end of August. I couldn't be happier with the work they have done for me and I expect that they will continue to impress me throughout the final installation. great experience
AES did a fantastic job setting us up and running with our solar system. It is working great! Although we had a little hiccup with the install, AES went above and beyond to correct and resolve the issue.

Reducing our carbon footprint day by day . . .
We definitely had some hiccups along the way, but overall we are very happy with our PV system. Adam Hoyt is a thorough planner, and a good advocate. Most of our issues had to do with work performed by a subcontractor, not AES itself. I believe that AES will learn from this experience and improve as a company.
