We are very pleased we selected AES for our solar installation. There were a variety of factors that made our installation more complicated than usual (new construction, detached structure, advanced pre-wiring phase, dependencies with other contractors, etc.), and AES was very attentive and flexible to figure out how to make it work and get it done right.

After speaking to so many companies it was really refreshing to speak to Adam from AES. After I explained what I was interested in for a solar system he worked to put together a system that he thought would work for me and after several proposals we came up with a system that he and I thought would meet my needs. That was the hardest part. The installation team contacted me and came out for a site visit to ensure installation would run smooth. I have two panel boxes and they made all the necessary changes to connect everything I wanted to run from solar to one panel box. My solar panels are ground mounted and they took care of everything, coordinating county and local electric company inspections and working to solve any issues with them. I am highly pleased from beginning to end with how AES handled my solar installation.

Alternative Energy Southeast, installed at our home, 14 x Q.PEAK DUO BLK ML-G10+ 400 Solar Panels, 1 x Sol-Ark 15K Inverter, and 2 x ARK Battery 100AH-48V. They did great job, and we are very pleased with the very low cost of electricity we now pay every month. In some month we are receiving money because we are generating more electricity than what we consume!

My Solar edge had stopped transmitting data since May 4. I had a good discussion on the phone with Lauren to discuss my options to fix it. Since I had recently changed my Router, I needed to reprogram it. I could not and they sent a technician out. The technician evaluated the problem and the need to update my Wi-Fi extender. He made a good recommendation to install a physical line from my Inverter to my Router so that I do not have future problems again if I changed my router. He did a fantastic job to install the line with minimal view of the installed line. Great job all round!!!

AES installed solar for my home, and also an EV car charger that has the option of only charging off of excess production from my array (i.e., no need to draw from the grid!). AES's support and service have been incredibly high-level. Their team is genuinely interested in providing a high level of service and ensuring everything works well. I had some hiccups with the EV charger, but the problem was with the equipment and the manufacturer; regardless, the AES team put long hours into it and completely fixed it, at no additional cost to me. You know the saying 'think globally, act locally'? I can't imagine going with a national company. AES is local, and they've been consistently there for me. A++++

I have nothing but positive feedback for this company. Starting with my sales consultant and all through the process, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The project manager kept me updated. The solar panel installers were excellent and on time as were the backup battery install team. Both teams were respectful of being in and around my house. Also, everyone was responsive and patient with all my questions. I’m glad I used this company.

I began looking into placing solar panels on my house in May. Alternative Energy Southeast, Inc was quick to contact me and began working up a quote for the installation I was looking for. AES did a fantastic job setting us up and running with our solar system. It is working great! Although we had a little hiccup with the install, AES went above and beyond to correct and resolve the issue.

We definitely had some hiccups along the way, but overall we are very happy with our PV system. Adam Hoyt is a thorough planner, and a good advocate. Most of our issues had to do with work performed by a subcontractor, not AES itself. I believe that AES will learn from this experience and improve as a company.

We can can not speak highly enough of AES. Our solar installation is working as planned and we are having significant monthly electric bill savings. The actual installation and follow up service from AES was exemplary. The. workmanship, professionalism, and courteousness of everyone involved in our project was top notch. From the initial estimate process through to the completion of your project you can not do better than AES.

Project was a little late starting but once started was completed in a reaspnable time. Have been using system for 8 months and cost saving estimates were a little optimistic but may be a dependent on my electric usage. Overall satisfied with system and federal tax credit was helpful in cashflow payback time period. Cashflow payback estimate provided is probably a little optimistic.

Through Solarize Athens we were able to have 36 solar panels installed on our south-facing barn roof. It wil take 10 years or so to pay for itself (Rayle Electric only gives us 4 cents per KW hour put back on the grid), but it's great to have a part right now in the leading environmental technology.

I worked collaboratively with Alternative Energy Southeast staff for a year on a community-wide project. In this time, they have always held themselves to the highest standard. After seven years of researching options for solar systems on my own home, I finally pulled the trigger and had AES do the installation. From proposal to installation to commissioning, everything went very well. Montana and staff were very professional and willing to go the extra mile to ensure our needs were met. While completing the installation, we discovered a preexisting fault in my electrical panel (it was literally melting). AES was very good at reviewing the issue, discussing options, and fixing the problem. I believe it speaks to their ethical approach that the cost for the additional work was VERY reasonably priced. I've had electrical work done on other residences and I'm familiar with industry pricing. In our situation the AES could have gone with the "Change Order" approach and gouged us because we were in a bind. Instead, we received excellent work basically done for the cost of materials. I highly recommend AES for solar installations and residential electrical work.

The folks at Alternative Energy Southeast (Montana et al) did an absolutely great job installing our solar panel system. The guys got the job done in a timely, and professional manner, despite many weather issues. They have been courteous, and patient and were able to diagnose an issue with our internet provider's equipment and help us get it repaired. Alternative Energy Southeast, Inc. designed and installed a grid-tied solar photovoltaic (PV) system with battery backup bank. We vetted every company in our area and found the best one in AES. We observed closely just about every aspect of the installation of our system by AES, and, not only did the installation crew tolerate our nosiness, but they happily continued to answer all his questions and teach us about the system, even as they worked to install it. Our lasting impression was that the installation crew were thorough and they cared about the quality of their work—they exhibited the highest work ethic and made sure that all aspects of the installation were done right. Based on our experience, we do not hesitate to give Alternative Energy Southeast our highest recommendation for designing and installing solar photovoltaic systems. We have the utmost confidence in these people and their work.

We chose a pole mounted installation since our roof was too steep and shaded for easy cleaning and solar collection. The pole mounted arrays can also be tilted for the change in the summer vs winter sun which we like AES was professional in their estimate and timely in their project start and completion. Everyone was courteous and friendly and the work well executed. We appreciated their problem solving and accommodations to other challenges e.g. tying in a guest house to the main house and installing a EVSE station for our electric car. Thank you AES - we are excited to have more renewal energy powering our house and car!

These gentlemen were extremely helpful. They removed a defunct solar system and installed 14 new panels for me. They worked with remarkable efficiency: they provided a 15-page proposal, met with me to answer questions and provide options, completely removed the non-functioning system, installed the new panels, had the electric company make the inspection on the new installation, all within one week. All seems to be working well.

AES was professional and personable to deal with. They were able to get our project in before the end of the year despite the late start due to our HOA agreement. I had a lot of questions and had all of them answered promptly.

I would highly recommend Montana and his crew to anyone.I had three Solar Tracker systems installed back in 2012. Well the contractor installed the systems incorrectly, they were to close together and shaded the Panels most of the time. Montana and his crew moved the middle set of 8 Panels and mounted them on to my roof. These guys were very profesional in their work and knowledge of what they are doing. I will definetly be using them to do upgrades to my system in the future.

These guys really knew what they were doing. IBEW union electrician journeymen, college diploma in Renewable Energy, and very personable and professional. Great attention to detail. Estimate of cost was right on the mark. Responded quickly to all my calls. Hard working and honest, something I'm not used to seeing among construction people. No problems whatsoever. They didn't even seem to mind answering all my questions.

Montana Busch knows his stuff! Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and well spoken, but he is trustworthy and thorough. We gave Montana access to the inside and outside of the house while we were at work. His team was clean, quick and neat. We were extremely lucky to find such a reputable and honest company in this new and at times mysterious new industry. Very happy with our system!

I was looking for the right company to install a 10 kW solar system at my house. I compared prices, credentials, and the professionalism of several solar contractors. Alternative Energy Southeast was the business I felt that had it all together. They did a fantastic job answering our questions about the system and we’re actually producing more energy than they projected. We are with Cobb EMC who gave us a $4,500 cash rebate which was in addition to the 30% tax credit we claimed. I wish we had of installed solar sooner because I’m saving thousands of dollars every year. I couldn’t be happier about the company I hired to install the system.
