When we bought we were told they would Monitor it and let us know if something wasn’t working. After year 1, it went down. I noticed, they didn’t. They fixed the issue, we were reimbursed for lost solar and power we paid as a result as promised when we bought solar. After it was installed it never seemed to function properly. I called the company, I called Idaho power, both more than once. I kept paying typical power prices. Almost a year later they finally admitted that they missed the issue. Parts were on back order. We still haven’t been reimbursed for the lost power for almost a year. Lots of broken promises. Lots of broken communication on their end. I continue to call, text, email, with NO response. I stop by their office in person and am always told they are working on it. DO NOT believe their false promises for what happens when the system breaks. Ours has almost been broken longer than it has ever worked and I’ve paid for Both my solar and power. WORST COMPANY EVER!!

We are very impressed with the proposal, engineering, layout, site visit, and final installation. We monitor the results daily and we are right on schedule. Of course no one has control of the weather but it is on track as we expected. We had six craftsman on our projects at different times. All were very professional in all aspects of installation. Even in 94 degree heat they worked extremely hard and continuously. I am retired from the electrical industry and held several positions in management of Fortune 100 companies including owning a partnership in an electrical transformer manufacturing company. This crew was experts in their field, never thought of cutting corners, installed with quality products, and installed properly in accordance with NEC. I can not say enough about the entire installation and highly recommend AltEnergy Staunton for those considering a solar project. You will not be disappointed!

We had several solar companies come to provide estimates and from the first interaction it was clear that AltEnergy was far more knowledgeable and interested in actually figuring out the right system for our house. The guys from other outfits who came to bid were salespeople without much experience ("let me check that and get back to you") but the AltEnergy guys knew the technology inside and out. Example: We wanted to run the conduit from roof to basement inside a wall that we were renovating at the time, and one competitor salesperson told me it would be fine to run it through plastic conduit (he even "checked with his manager"). AltEnergy are technical guys. They showed up and explained that it was code to put this through a metal conduit (hundreds of volts... of COURSE you want it through a metal conduit so nobody accidentally kills themselves some day in the future mounting a picture and drilling through a plastic pipe). From that day onwards they have been incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and skillful in everything they have done. It's rare to find a company where everyone genuinely cares and are really nice people, but that's been my experience with everyone I met there. We made far better decisions with their guidance along the way. System is up and running and we couldn't be happier. Strong recommendation - these guys are in a different category from the rest.

Jesse and this crew were quick to assess our home, get us set up with a plan and then follow through with installation. They worked hard with different restrictions regarding quarantine with COVID-19 and some pretty wet and windy spring weather as well. They communicated efficiently with us about what to expect at each stage of installment, and what to expect when completed. I felt very taken care of as a customer and highly recommend them for your solar needs. 5 Stars is an understatement on how well they do their job as well as take care of the customer.

Altenergy provided a very competitive price for our solar system but it was the employees I met which gave me the assurance that Altenergy cares about their customers and stands behind their work.

AltEnergy provided excellent expertise and and customer service. They know what they are doing. Our install went very well, and we are happy to be generating clean, solar electricity.
