Affordable Solar

The Barboa's

We are extremely happy with our new solar system installed by Affordable Solar. Crystal Felice was our go to person from the beginning to the end of our project. Her outstanding workmanship was exceptional! She always took care of all our questions and always was on top of everything. We have recommended her to our friends and family and they are happy too! We love not getting a bill from PNM and are delighted to get money from them instead!!! Alright this is the way to go!!

Affordable Solar

This company did a great job! Clean, neat, efficient, professional. Now the electric company sends ME $$ - that's the right direction! Jump in and do it! I highly recommend this company and the Sales person Crystal Felice!! (505) 263-2687

Fantastic Experience

Crystal Felice reviewed my usage and sold me on my system during our first conversation. She conveyed the knowledge, and compassion lacking in many sales people. Had the system not been good for me I totally believe she would have not sold me. Her honesty is so refreshing. Everything was completed as stated and the only wait time was for the City inspection. The installation crew were terrific and the work went smoothly. Congratulations Affordable Solar for your dedication to the public and having the best representatives working for you.

Well, I'm happy

Thanks to Crystal and the rest of the Affordable Solar team, my experience as a customer was nothing but positive. The installation went smoothly and after 6 months, it is working smoothly. I love the Enphase digital tracking system and I just got my first check from the electric company (they only cut a check when the amount reaches as certain amount.)

Great Company to work with

My experience with Affordable Solar was not in sales or installation but as a home owner who purchased a home with existing solar panels. I was having the roof replaced and had to work with the company to remove and replace upon completion of the new roof. The company went out of its way to work with my roofing company to work this out. Everyone I worked with in the company from the office to the crew were professional and informative. I would highly recommend this company.

GREAT JOB

Once I got someone from affordable to see me the whole project when very smooth I'm very happy Thanks !

I am delighted to have my new solar system however, there were extreme problems with the company. What was supposed to take but a few weeks ending up being about 6 months! On top of that the electrician's wiring of my cloths drier was done incorrectly and I thought it was broken so I had to purchase a new one only to find out that the new one did not work either! Months later, I am still waiting for the rebate I was told I would be receiving from the power company.

4 KW System in Corrales, NM

Affordable Soalr did a great job. The process went exactly as promised....no surprises. Dustin kept me fully informed thoughout the process. The guys that installed my system were very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in Solar.

Affordable Solar Review

I am very pleased with the Solar PV installation installed on the roof of my house in Santa Fe. NM by Affordable Solar of Albuquerque, NM. They provided quality equipment which was professionally installed at a much lower cost than was available locally. They took care of all the city inspectors' few concerns in a timely manner. And I didn't have to make any special trips down to Albuquerque to handle business. - James Keele

Residential Solar Installation

They told me I'd be able to monitor my system via the internet, but they never asked me how I hooked up to the internet. After-the-fact I found out that their equipment doesn't accomodate wireless connectivity, so now I can't monitor my system and nor can they. This is a disappointment, as I was supposed to be able to see how each panel was performing at all times. Now, the only thing I can see is my monthtly billing from the electric company.

Top honors

It was no surprise to us to see that Affordable Solar was in the top 10 as one of "New Mexico Flying 40" companies for 2013. Our experience with Affordable Solar was top rate from beginning to end with the installation of 38 panels on our home. We unexpectedly had to be out of town during the days of our installation, but we returned to a job completed in just two days. The final inspections were all done without any problems and we were able to start using our system within the timeline outlined to us at the outset. We have been enjoying our monthly refunds along with the knowledge that we are doing our part in saving our natural resources. The entire staff was extremely efficient and answered all of our questions and concerns in a concise, clear manner. Our HOA was complementary of the presentation given by Justin and their concerns were eased when he set up some mock panels on the roof for them to see from various locations. We highly recommend Affordable Solar to anyone interested in either purchasing or leasing a system for their home or business. Ray & Judy Dewey

Two thumbs up

They ran into a construction issue, were upfront with what happened then fixed it. Shows integrity. The permitting process was tedious with multiple visits from the city & PNM but our sales guy warned us to expect this. I spoke with the city & PNM reps privately and they had good things to say about Affordable. That was our experience too.

Check in the mail from PNM

From start to finish this whole group was professional. Work was completed neatly, and on time. I shall be looking forward to future checks from PNM AS WELL AS THE TAX INCENTIVES to help with the initial cost and help the earth!

Santa Fe, NM

The work was done professionally and works very well. I am satisfied with the work done.

Fantastic Service

These folks are the way to go! Patient, friendly, informative...were more than willing to answer questions and educate months before we were ready to install...kept me informed at every step once we signed the contract. Turnkey program provided access to cooperating lender at the outset and tax forms at the end. Love the ability to monitor my system online!

Affordable Solar

I had been looking at solar systems for several years, did received some quote's on system's for my home. I found that I did not get straight answers on cost and benefits till I had a meeting with Chuck with Affordable Solar. The planning and execution of my 7KW array was one of the better experiences that I have had in doing up grades on my home. The crew and support were both very professional and on schedule, leaving my property both ready to produce power and the site was clean. I am please to say that Affordable Solar installed my system. Thanks Jim

Affordable Solar - a fantastic company to work with.

Affordable Solar was a fantastic company to work with. The sales person who handled our account answered our questions in a straight forward, no non-sense way. The design group and construction team were courteous and always available to answer our questions. Plus they met all of the deadlines we imposed on them. And saving the best for last, I love getting a check from our utility company every month. Every month we get a check, I thank my husband for making such an excellent investment!

Sunny and smiling

The whole process was easy. Once I was shown the possible savings and convenience, I wondered why I had waited so long in the first place.

Thank you Affordable Solar

Affordable Solar installed our system. It was installed and turned on ahead of schedule. Thirteen months later, we have not paid Xcel Energy one cent; but, have received two checks from Xcel. Thank you, Affordable.

Creative Interiors solar electric installation

Affordable solar was the only company who responded to my request for a solar electric quote for my residence and business. They got me quotes and ended up installing both our residential and commercial solar systems prior to the end of the year even though I started the process in September. They did a good job of inter facing with building inspectors and PNM and Jemez electric. I would highly recommend them!

I Did Something Right

It's the best thing i could have done. i have not paid any electric bills since the installationof the system. what more can a guy ask for.

Second Installation

Th main problem Affordable has is with rogue electrical inspectors. Other than that, they are clean, efficient, timely, professional, helpful and what they promised- delivered!

Fantastic experience

Affordable Solar representatives were always in contact and very informative with all our questions. The system we had installed was to our needs and expectations. The expected time line was completed early and our refund check from the power company is large enough to pay our water and gas bills. It is the BEST thing we have done. Living on a fixed income is not easy in these times.

Best Value and Customer Experience

My new solar system has been running flawlessly for over two months and anyone who visits always comments on the meticulousness of the installation. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the overall success of this project. More importantly, I am very happy with the sales, management, installation, workmanship, and ethics of this company. The entire staff is honest, friendly, and professional and I recommended them to everyone who will listen. You owe it to yourself and to your wallet to use this company for all of your solar needs.
