Advanced Solar - MD

I had solar panels installed on my roof by Advanced Solar in November 2024, and I am very pleased with the entire experience. Lewis Martin and team did an excellent job with communication and consistently kept us updated with all the necessary information throughout the process. The new roof was installed efficiently, and the DC/AC inverter and combiner were placed at the rear of my home exactly as I requested. I especially appreciated the dedication of the crew—the workers even came the day before Thanksgiving and worked into the evening to ensure the job was completed. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work and have not experienced any problems since the installation. I would highly recommend Advanced Solar to anyone considering solar installation.

The team at Advanced Solar was very patient and professional. I worked with Lewis Martin and his team, especially Jason Hegeman. They explained everything in the detail I needed and got the installation done by our set deadline. The electrician had to cut into a wall to get the proper access and they sent someone to repair right after. Great customer service and very responsive considering I needed to make the year end cut-off (Thanks Jason)! Definitely recommend.

My experience with Advanced Solar was outstanding. They handled the installation of my solar panels and even replaced my roof at no cost through a grant program available to qualifying residents in DC —and I was fortunate to meet the requirements. From beginning to end, everything went seamlessly, and the process didn’t disrupt my daily routine at all. I especially want to recognize Lewis Martin and team for their exceptional customer service. They were knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to clearly explain each step, making the entire experience simple and worry-free. I truly appreciate their support and the professionalism of the entire Advanced Solar team. I would confidently recommend Advanced Solar to anyone seeking reliable service and a hassle-free transition to solar energy.

Advanced Solar installed solar units for two of the four units in a building I own, and the results have truly surpassed my expectations. The electric bills are now less than $18.00 per month. My tenants were significantly behind on their Pepco bills, and with the upcoming winter months, there was no realistic way they could have caught up on those payments. The savings from going solar have made a meaningful difference in their financial stability and peace of mind. The job was completed professionally, with great precision, and the final installation is aesthetically clean and very well done. The quality of workmanship is clear. Mr. Lewis Martin and Jason Hageman, along with the entire crew, went above and beyond their scope of duty. They didn’t just complete the installation — they genuinely cared about my tenants and even assisted in addressing their outstanding Pepco balances. That level of service and compassion is rare. I truly have no words to fully express my gratitude for their care and commitment to the community. I highly recommend Advanced Solar to anyone considering solar installation.

Well this is a long term review of the system that was installed in march 2019 on my home. It's been 6 years now and the system has worked flawlessly and to my expectations. Scott Johnson and his professional team of engineers, installers, and sales were spectacular in accommodating my specific requests and needs for the setup I was looking for. They were very responsive, professional, thoughtful, and even open to other avenues of helping their clients get credits that at the time they were not aware of in my specific zip code. Through their knowledgeable experience, the process from beginning to end was seamless in retrospect and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to other people for bids. Til this day, I still continue to refer people to them that inquire and will continue to do so!

Scott and his team delivered a first class turn key system for me. From sizing to design, selecting panels (Poly vs Mono), selecting inverters (SolarEdge vs Enphase), answering questions about tilt, orientation, performance, system life and more, Scott was able to come up with an efficient design at a great value for me. It's been about 6 months since the install and I have not found and 'surprises' with the system. I'm on track for about a 6 year payback and could not be happier with Scott and Advance Solar Technologies LLC.
