ACR Solar

Run away. My system has broken down 3 times since my installation in 2018. The last time was 4/6/26. I have left multiple emails, messages, texts and absolutely no response from them. They do not honor their warranty at all. I have also had 3 panels not working for a couple of years now and they will not replace them. This company are a bunch of crooks, avoid at all costs.

When they were making the sale to us in 2019 everything was great, I even gave them a five-star glowing review. Now, don't waste you time. I have contacted them for service, not even warranty work, just service. Never a response now. The system is working fine, luckily I have time to find another provider.

Aug 2025 review. ACR solar previous did my solar panels and did a fantastic job. I had to get my roof replaced (ACR Roofing Systems) and the coordination to remove and reinstall the panels was seamless. They even found a bad panel and RMA'd it. I would definitely recommend ACR solar for you solar needs. March 2026 review. Im changing my my original post about service to 1 star. Original i was told that they would RMA my bad panel and I trusted that when I wrote my Aug review. Since then I've have another bad panel that needs replacement. Had a few phone initial calls with no progress for the RMA. Ive called many more times and they are ignoring my calls. Ive called consistently since January 2026 with no return phone calls for replacement. A company that doesn't provide service after the initial work I would not recommend if they dont warranty their work. This after I spent 30k for solar, 32k for roof, and 8k to remove and replace solar. Highly disappointed in their followup service.

Very glad we recently hired ACR Solar to install our swimming pool solar heating system. First off, they are located in Carmichael close to where we live. Secondly their pricing was well below two other companies we got bids from. Finally they are very timely and extremely conscientious about their work and they do the job the right way. Thanks to Aaron, our salesperson and Clark, the foreman. The installers stayed with it until the job was finished and actually got it done a day early. Now we are enjoying comfortable, warm water and looking forward to extending the swim season right into the fall.

Fantastic experience with ACR Solar! I started planning my project a few years ago, and Al was generous in discussing the merits of a solar thermal water system in addition to the PV solar system. I appreciate that the ACR sources panels locally, that they have been in this business a VERY long time, that their pricing was very competitive, and I appreciated their professionalism along the way. Now both systems are fully installed on my new home and I'm looking forward to enjoying the benefits.

Good company from the beginning to the end

From the first meeting with peter I felt confident ACR could meet all my needs. The job was done very professionally, everyone did their job as described. The process was very smooth.

Quality Work Plus Very Honesty

ACR Solar International has contacted me to pin point the date for them come out here to installed 15 panels plus inverter and all of the wiring to new 20 Amp. solar circuit breaker for 240 volt system. They had did it in one full day with good care on my roof. When County Inspector has came out, it really PASS in the flying color. Everything still working very well.

I bought a system 3 from Solarroofs.com and installed it myself. It worked so well through the summer that the Gas Co. sent a guy out to see if my meter was malfunctioning. I don`t cook, and my gas clothes dryer is no longer in service, so I got to tell him that there was no gas being used because I got all my hot water from the solar system even with the gas pilot turned off for the summer. Thanks to them for their help in getting it running right.

Everything was as expected, (savings) not overstated, and their step by step installation was a breeze. I highly recommend the professional and courteous services of SolarRoofs.com ! Solar hot water unit was installed by homeowner. No contractor.

all the folks at SolarRoofs, In August of 2008 I purchased a System 5 from you and I just wanted to follow up and tell you how impressed I am with your product . My system installation was simple and performance is excellent . In these summer months my old hot water system can go to sleep and even in cold weather the solar is working ! I recomend your product to everyone my sincere thanks to you all. Jerry Guerra Mastic Beach New York. I purchased this hot water system as a Do it yourself kit and was very satisfied with the the quality of the components and the friendly support of the staff at SolarRoofs. Jerry Guerra

This system was a complete kit I ordered from solarroofs.com and installed myself. During the sales/design process the customer service was excellent and they explained all of my concerns/questions very professionally and accurate. My installation was a bit unique and Solarroofs actually manufactured custom panels for my design. When the panels were shipped to me cross-country they were damaged in the Midwest by the carrier. Solarroofs remade these custom panels for me very quickly. During the DIY installation the technical team at Solarroofs was always available for my questions. A few months after the installation an issue cropped up with the 12v pump. Solarroofs technical team diagnosed the issue and very quickly sent me a replacement part. At every stage of the process Solarroofs came through with the needed information, parts, and help of all kinds. It has been almost a year now and this system is great. I would highly recommend this company for the DIY`er or professional.

Great job, very professional, and super solr product. SolarRoofs is an outstanding company, with outstanding productss and personnel.
