Solar panels roof replacement

I have been trying to get a hold of the solar panel company to remove my solar panels for roof replacement. I have been calling them for two months. I haven’t received one phone call back from them. I am only giving them a 1 rating only because zero is not an option and that’s what you would get from this company zero. Do not make the mistake of using this company. They are terrible.

AC/DC solar reinstalled our solar panels we purchased from them after we replaced our damaged roof from the last hurricane. They cracked well over 80 roof tiles on our brand newly installed roof. After I went up on the roof myself to evaluate the situation I just couldn't believe someone would continue to install the panels knowing they were cracking so many brand new tiles. They ever attempted to improperly caulk some of them with a clear silicone. We were told they cracked a few tiles. 80 plus tiles is more than a few. The damage to repair and replace the broken tiles was $3200.00. I waiting patiently for nearly 3 months for them to agree to pay for this. Our new roof warranty would be negated if the roofer did not do the repair themselves. AC/DC solar wanted to repair it in house and are unwilling to pay for the damage they caused. How do you install solar on roofs for a living and not know how to walk on a roof without damaging it so extensively.

Use this company at your own risk We have been trying to contact them for over 2 weeks to uninstall panels. We’ve paid since October 28. Almost 2 months now and the panels off the roof for repair have not been removed. I will be calling the county office to advise them that they have yet to complete the job and we have a leaking roof. The roofing company is unable to complete the job. Beware. You will not save on your light bill. The minute my parents were paying a 9$ bill through FPL they had a technician come in to apparently complete an upgrade and it was a complete disaster. Bill increased to almost 200$ the following month, without considering the monthly installments. My folks are senior citizens (mid 70's) and live on a fixed income...this is not what they bargained for

We had this company install solar panels 3 years ago. They were professional, and usually responded in a day or 2. The problem is we have had nothing but problems with their product. First our roof leaked due to the panels not being installed correctly. We also have constant problems with the system not reporting. ACDC has been to our house a good 10 times. They say they fix the problem, and yet the next time there's a storm, the system stops reporting. Each time it stops reporting it costs us money for electricity. So along with paying $240 a month for the next 18 years, we are paying for electricity. The system is not reporting as I am writing this. I called 3 days ago, and was told someone would be here the next day, and that was 4 days ago. I keep calling and I get a message saying they are not available, and their mailbox's are full. What a way to run a business. In the meantime, we are paying for electricity at the full cost. I posted this in August. Angela from the company reached out to me, and said she was sending someone to take care of this problem. I was away at the time that they came, but I do believe we had a faulty panel which they changed out in our absence, as the system has been working perfectly ever since. Thank you Angela for finally fixing this problem.

I love these solar panels! I don't have an electric bill on all but the hottest months. The installation went smoothly, and quickly. They even made sure to regularly follow up to.make sure I was ok. I have had them well over a year now, and they still text me on occasion to ask how I am, and if everything is still good. This is the kind of good quality service people are referring to when they say things like, "you can't get that kind of help nowadays". Turns out, you still can in some places. Thanks AC/DC Solar!

Professional installers and walked me through the process

The installers were great. I learned that I was lucky to work with their actual sales people versus 3rd parties that promise the world. They came and installed my system and walked me through the system monitoring. I'll admit that after 5 months my bill showed savings then went up slightly, but I know exactly why... my usage more than doubled...only reason I know... because the installer warned me this happens a lot with customers. Either way, I am happy with my install.

Solar panels by AC/dc not only helped improve my home but the service was top tier. I was assisted by the team who helped me along the process. I will suggest any homeowners or renovators looking make upgrades uses this company. You will not be disappointed!

Do not buy from this company the salesman is a joke, he lied to us about if we go solar they would pay our deposit from our electric company TECO, would pay our ADT bill for two years, and pay upfront cost until our solar panels are up and running which took six months after all the BS, Buyer Beware Run this is the worst decision/company I’ve ever dealt with. I guess they teach their sales people to lie at all cost to get a sale.
