ARE Solar

Excellent company - great purchase and install experience

We had a not great first solar experience with a different company, but knew we wanted solar on our new home. We received quotes from 4 companies and ARE solar provided the best value for power production vs cost and they had a solid warranty to back it up. We were still skeptical - almost seemed too good to be true. But we dove in and trusted the many other positive reviews. Design and Contracting was straightforward - unlike other companies, ARE listened to what was important to us and adjusted the design to match. Installation was smooth - the workers that were onsite were considerate and install was quick. Connection with Xcel also went smoothly, backed up by proactive and detailed communication from ARE Solar. Throughout the entire process we appreciated the clear and detailed communications, the responsiveness to our questions and the transparency of the answers. Now 6+ months post install the panels are operating flawlessly, production is tracking a bit above what was expected, and we look forward to many years of enjoying the energy production from the Colorado sun.

Great Customer Service and Installation Quality

The ARE Solar team did an excellent job throughout the whole process of my install. I used a the Hanwha 325w panels with the Solar Edge inverter and optimizers. The installation turned out very clean, including the conduit work, and inverter placement. David, Aj, Casey and Clay were very responsive to my emails, and installation requests. Once the system was commissioned I had the Solar Edge monitoring app/login sent to me. Now I can manage the production of every panel 24/7. Very happy and satisfied with ARE Solar!

Great Solar Choice

We decided to go solar due in part to available rebates, both federal and local with Colorado Springs Utilities. ARE Solar was already networked within the CSU and Solaredge provider system. Their proposal was the most detailed and well designed among others. Presentation and communication met every expectation. We had plenty questions on products, processes, warranties, maintenance, system size, and every question was met with helpful and trustworthy responses. We wanted the most reliable products on the market, and ARE supported our vision. Once we had the contract, installation was speedy and without drama. ARE further supported rebate paperwork with CSU fully, such that we did not need to work through uncharted technical communications nor inspections. ARE Solar makes the solar choice an easy and satisfying experience.

Fantastic

Nothing but praise. Great communication, talented and knowledgeable installers. Would recommend to everyone!

Fast and professional, no surprises

ARE Solar was very fast and professional. They installed the system as proposed, no surprises. They applied for the permit quickly and once approved they had several people on site to very quickly mount panels and electrical infrastructure. The install finished just past the winter solstice, peak power has been higher than I expected and power generation is growing as the days get longer and the sun gets higher. Stats are easy to view on the monitoring web page which I have been watching daily for the past month. I'm thrilled with the outcome!

Great service

Great service. I priced 5 different companies and listened to their presentations. AAE Solar was an easy decision for me. They were very professional and did what they said they were going to do. They have been very open to answering all my questions, during the project and throughout the past year. I definitely recommend them.

Excellent company and system

We looked at a number of local companies before deciding on AAE. I'm glad we looked around, and AAE exceeded our expectations. They were easy to work with from our initial contact all the way through to the day they came by to explain the system and turn it on. I have no doubt they'll still be there if we ever need anything from them again. The system has now been on for almost a month and it has been performing perfectly.

New solar at our house

We had such a good experience with AAE. Our neighbor went with a national company but we wanted to stay local. An added point was US manufactured everything. We were very pleased with the service from first visit to assessment to getting it all on the roof. Andy coordinated schedules with the roofer as we ended up with new garage roof due to hail damage. We now take great satisfaction in seeing the credit meter go up and up and the usage meter stay far behind it. Would happily recommend this company.

AAEPower

This company went over the expected installation, design, and coordination with the County to ensure our system worked before they completed. The installation was done very nicely and professionally. The electrical panel, panel supports, and trenching was done very well. the installation matches with the upscale, curb appeal of our house.

AAE Solar is Outstanding

AAE Solar installed my system, 32 panels on my residence, in April 2011. I couldn't be happier. The project was completed on time, on budget, with excellent communication and project management throughout. Three months after the installation, I noticed the system wasn't performing as expected. AAE responded immediately, diagnosed the problem (faulty micro-inverters), dealt with the manufacturer to get warranty coverage and installed all new and higher output inverters on my panels. The replacement went flawlessly and the system has performed beautifully since that time. There are many company's that do a good job providing a service. But I believe the mark of a truly outstanding company is how they respond when problems occur. AAE's actions on my behalf in addressing and resolving this problem demonstrate that AAE is one of those truly outstanding firms. I can recommend them enthusiastically and without reservation.

Very Happy

The system that AAE Solar installed on my home works exactly as promised. They did a great job installing the system. I am so please to not be paying Xcel for electricity anymore.

Excellent, painless, well managed project

34 panels with micro-inverters. Well run project with no problems, excellent quality work and service. Couldn't be happier with AAE!

AAE Solar is Great!!

AAE Solar installed my solar panels in April 2012. I checked many companies out before signing up with AAE Solar and none seemed as good. I had an extremely high electric bill because of the 12 children we adopted and the use of 3 evaporation coolers in the summer. I was paying over $400.00 for electricity in the summer. The cost of electricity has gone up almost 25% since we installed our system. AAE Solar installed a 10K system for me which pays for most of the electricity we use. Our Electricity bill is now between $25.00 and $100.00 month in the summer; plus we get out carbon dollars from the electric company every month varying from $50.00 winter to $180.00 in the summer. The saving is wonderful; even with out loan we are money ahead. I recommend AAE Solar panels to anyone who is planning on staying in their home for more than 10 years. They have always been there to answer my questions; even the dumb ones I asked. Mike Hodapp

outstanding delivery and communications

AAE just remover and replace our panels so we could replace our roof. the job was complete in 3 days. AAE has the best communictions and is a pleasure to work with. They are very professional, highly skilled and deliver on time. I recommend AAE.

solar system

10K Solar panel system installed 1 1/2 years ago, quality installation, great project management, best price I could find from many sunpower reselers and has worked flawlessly. Would, and do, recommend to friends. Lower TCO than paying the power company for the same electrons over the next 20 years and these electrons are greener:)

AAE and custom installation in 2014 - www.stoneaspen.com

AAE Solar did an installation for me on a custom home in 2014. I am been extremely pleased with the quality of the installation, the communication, the servicing, and the end results. AAE will be doing all of our solar installations going forward. David Putnam, Stone Aspen Signature Builders. www.stoneaspen.com

Super Solar System

AAE did a great job on our system. They took particular care to design around an upcoming remodel and minimize the effects of seasonal shadows. The included electrical work made the subsequent remodel all the easier.

Solar sys

AAE Solar did an outstanding job of setting us up with a solar elect sys. We reviewed new solar systems with about 5 other companies and we are very happy we selected AAE Solar. It was not a difficult decision. I would recommend you do your home, explore your options and you will also agree on AAE solar. Their price and products is best option available. Thank you, Don Duran

Great Company- would work with them again in a second!

We did a whole house remodel and wanted to put in a PV solar system for our house. AAE waked us through the entire process of the equipment and how it works, and what they were doing to plan out the whole system. We ended up having to change our timing for installing our system and wait a few months longer than we initially planned, but AAE was very thorough and making sure all of the details were taken care of and nothing was missed. They were really responsive to things like being really persistent in working with XCEL, who needed to do certain things on their end. As soon as we got the system up and running, we started immediately getting checks from XCEL each month for the energy we are banking. We had a very positive experience working with AAE and would recommend them to anyone even considering putting in solar. It is a good financial investment upfront, but it absolutely made sense and we are already feeling like we're getting our money's worth for the investment. AAE made the process really stress-free as well, because there was a lot going on- they had to work with our roofers, electricians, general contractor, and the utility companies, as well as the city of Boulder in order to get everything set up. We had many, many other things to think about, and it was nice that we didn't have to worry at all about our solar installation.

On and Off the Grid Solar Installations

I was so impressed with this company's install on of an the grid system at my home near Longmont, that I ask that they install and off the grid system for my mountain cabin in Grand County, Colorado

AAE Solar was simply outstanding in every respect. I am very pleased and would not hesitate to use them again. I am gladly referring them to family and friends. I had the option of having the contractor charge me the net amount after purchase incentives were deducted (for a carrying charge). I chose to pay the full job amount and receive the rebate directly from XCEL Energy.

Despite freezing weather and a problem with squirrels chewing our wires on our solar panels the company completed everything as promised. Also. Mr.Waldman and his excellent team took the added step of installing screening all around our panels to keep the squirrels out. The squirrels destroyed one panel completely and the team replaced it at no cost to us. I really appreciated that.

It was great working with AAESolar. Very few contractors, in my experience, come anywhere close to their quality, commitment and reliability. AAESolar provided option of covering the amount of the utility`s purchase incentives. However, I declined this option since it involved financing costs via a 3rd party and I could afford to cover the upfront costs.

Solar Installers do not come any better than AAE Solar. It was a painless process from the very beginning to end. PV System will never work without incentives. A payback period of 8 years was fine...but, without incentives it would have been a payback of 18-20 years. I would never installed the system without a shorter payback period. CO2 does not control the earth`s temperature. I installed this to reduce our dependence on foreign petroleum.

I chose AAE mostly because they seemed to have a good understanding of the design options for such a system. What they recommended to me sounded more appropriate than what I heard from other solar companies.
