We had a not great first solar experience with a different company, but knew we wanted solar on our new home. We received quotes from 4 companies and ARE solar provided the best value for power production vs cost and they had a solid warranty to back it up. We were still skeptical - almost seemed too good to be true. But we dove in and trusted the many other positive reviews. Design and Contracting was straightforward - unlike other companies, ARE listened to what was important to us and adjusted the design to match. Installation was smooth - the workers that were onsite were considerate and install was quick. Connection with Xcel also went smoothly, backed up by proactive and detailed communication from ARE Solar. Throughout the entire process we appreciated the clear and detailed communications, the responsiveness to our questions and the transparency of the answers. Now 6+ months post install the panels are operating flawlessly, production is tracking a bit above what was expected, and we look forward to many years of enjoying the energy production from the Colorado sun.

This company went over the expected installation, design, and coordination with the County to ensure our system worked before they completed. The installation was done very nicely and professionally. The electrical panel, panel supports, and trenching was done very well. the installation matches with the upscale, curb appeal of our house.

AAE Solar installed my system, 32 panels on my residence, in April 2011. I couldn't be happier. The project was completed on time, on budget, with excellent communication and project management throughout. Three months after the installation, I noticed the system wasn't performing as expected. AAE responded immediately, diagnosed the problem (faulty micro-inverters), dealt with the manufacturer to get warranty coverage and installed all new and higher output inverters on my panels. The replacement went flawlessly and the system has performed beautifully since that time. There are many company's that do a good job providing a service. But I believe the mark of a truly outstanding company is how they respond when problems occur. AAE's actions on my behalf in addressing and resolving this problem demonstrate that AAE is one of those truly outstanding firms. I can recommend them enthusiastically and without reservation.

I had an extremely high electric bill because of the 12 children we adopted and the use of 3 evaporation coolers in the summer. I was paying over $400.00 for electricity in the summer. The cost of electricity has gone up almost 25% since we installed our system. AAE Solar installed a 10K system for me which pays for most of the electricity we use. Our Electricity bill is now between $25.00 and $100.00 month in the summer; plus we get out carbon dollars from the electric company every month varying from $50.00 winter to $180.00 in the summer. The saving is wonderful; even with out loan we are money ahead. I recommend AAE Solar panels to anyone who is planning on staying in their home for more than 10 years. They have always been there to answer my questions; even the dumb ones I asked. Mike Hodapp

10K Solar panel system installed 1 1/2 years ago, quality installation, great project management, best price I could find from many sunpower reselers and has worked flawlessly. Would, and do, recommend to friends. Lower TCO than paying the power company for the same electrons over the next 20 years and these electrons are greener:)

AAE did a great job on our system. They took particular care to design around an upcoming remodel and minimize the effects of seasonal shadows. The included electrical work made the subsequent remodel all the easier.
