Disappointed With Tesla
Installed a 6kW system for my house in upstate New York in the middle of December, and generated ~40kWh in over six weeks. Why? Because I'm in a region there is snow. Then the solaredge inverters that is installed with the system stopped working, and a technician had to stop by when I couldn't troubleshoot it with the Tesla rep over the phone - the soonest appointment, 1 week, and that was because I recently turned on my system so I was a high priority... This is why you're paying so little for solar panels, because they completely do not have the capacity to service you after the point of sale. I was under the assumption once these panels were installed, you rarely needed to maintain the system - boy was I wrong. Or maybe its just my experience with Tesla installed panels. Pretty disappointed with my purchase so far and I would really encourage other prospective solar buyers to consider the local solar companies.
