Don’t waste your time

I do not recommend Photon Brothers. 1. The permit review process has taken 5+ months and was continually denied by the city for minor things that are in the company’s control for submission (ie what paper size to submit for approval on). The delay was caused by the project managers submissions and delayed responses. 2. After 5 months for permit approval, we were told they would install the next Wednesday. On the Tuesday before install, we received a call that they don’t have solar panels to install with no timeline insight for having inventory. It’s almost as if they had no visibility of the project. 3. We asked for the design document of what was approved for permit. We approved the initial design from Photon Brothers with 28 panels because that is what will meet the needs of the house. The final design document only includes 14 panels, so only meets 50% of the requirement. There was zero communication about the changes from Photon Brothers, and only found out because we asked for the final documents. In summary, the 5+ months we spent in permitting process is not what we approved and doesn’t come close to meeting the needs of the house, with zero communication about any changes. 4. To get anyone on the phone towards resolution is near impossible. This is currently in progress. I will update the review if progress is made.
