Going strong for 15 years

15 years ago Texas Solar Power Company installed a 7525 watts ground array solar system 15 years ago. At the time I didn't understand anything about solar. They were very good at educating me and making me feel comfortable with their company. Our system has worked flawlessly for 15 years. I couldn't be more happy. By my calculations, we broke even on our system in 5 years instead of the 9 years I had expected. It is so nice to have a reasonable electric bill when everyone around me is wondering how they are going to pay for their bills. After Icemageddon, we have been concerned about power outages. We don't feel we can depend on the grid. 15 years ago a good battery backup was not an option, but now we are looking to get one. I am hoping that Texas Solar Power Company will be able to install one for us.
