Poor communication, thoroughness, etc. after the sale is made

My initial interaction with NYSSF was fantastic --- good communication, support with loans, etc. The sales associated was literally calling me once or twice per day to move things along. Once things were signed and the project was underway, things went off the rails. Scheduling was a nightmare and communication was poor: I'd be given a date to expect and then hear nothing. I also had to play middleman with NYSSF and NYSEG and answer questions beyond my ken. I expected NYSSF to handle more here but the process was delayed weeks for this reason. In the end, it took way longer than I expected to have an installation complete. After installation, it turned out that my roof needed replacing (not their fault), BUT the review process was meant to rule out the possibility that the roof was in bad shape, including drone video. Whoever examined the video footage was not looking carefully because an independent contractor pointed out that the roof critically needed replacing. Trying to get the solar panels down and back up again has proved to be a second nightmare. NYSSF seemingly has no interest in communicating efficiently, asking reasonable questions (what sort of roof is it?), and performing quality work. So far, my panels have been removed with parts casually thrown about my yard but with no scheduled re-installation date after 3 months of waiting, patiently asking for updates and receiving promises that are re-negged on. I don't think this is a bad company but I think there are incompetent or possibly unmotivated employees who lack basic professionalism.
