Custom Solar Installation

In 2023 I knew that I wanted to invest in solar. I also knew that the system was going to be pretty large and therefore a sizable investment. I wanted to fill the entire back of my roof with solar panels, and I contemplated doing the job myself, however before I made that decision, I wanted to get some quotes from various contractors in the area to see what they were gonna charge. After engaging with a few other contractors, I realized right away that it matters very much who I go with because they all did not appear to understand the intricacies and specificities of my property as relates to how to maximize my solar investment. Many of the quotes I got were automated or generic and on top of that, over priced. Some didn’t support microinverters and others didn’t try to maximize the number of panels on my roof. That’s when I met Gabriel at Lumina Solar. Gabriel is a former solar installer foreman and is now the sales rep for Lumina Solar. He came to my house and we talked in-person. Due to his expertise, I was able to ask him a number of different questions (of which I had many) and he answered all of them very thoroughly. He helped me design a system that met my specific needs for my specific house. I was very happy and comfortable with the interaction I had with Gabriel. So much so that I stopped looking for new contractors and decided not to install the system myself. I signed the contract with Lumina that week. The installation has gone through all of its paces, and he’s met all of the promises that he made from the very beginning. Everything from the installation taking one day to submitting all the paperwork for the various tax and other types of documentation that I have to do and getting the system inspected/interconnected. I’m now grid tied, generating power from my house and pushing it back to the grid successfully. Very happy with this investment. To a large extent, I thank Gabriel for making that possible.
