Horrible customer service

System was installed in the early summer of 2022. After three months the system went active at the end of August 2022. Worked fine until August of 2023 when suddenly the system stopped reporting. I assumed this was a system error that would be fixed after I rebooted the WiFi router. In September I received a bill from my local electric provider of over $250 for using the grid electric which up until this point I had been producing more electric than I used. Contacted ADT only to be told I needed to reboot the system and if they sent a technician out I would be charged for the service. Was emailed a self how-to video with instructions on how to reboot the system and reconnect to WiFi. Opened the panel only to find that there was no power to panel. Contacted ADT again and was told a work order would be submitted and someone would contact me to schedule a service. A month later I had not heard anything from ADT so I called back and was told a work order was pending. This went on and on for two months. At the end of November I filed a complaint with the BBB. I also drove to the local office only to find the local office closed down at the beginning of November 2023 with no notice. I received an email from Nicole Read who claimed she would help resolve my issues and get me scheduled for service. It is now mid January 2024 and my system is still down with no scheduled date for service to fix the system. I have multiple emails with Nicole Read and every time it’s the same BS that they are working on getting a service scheduled with a provider and no date is provided of when this will be fixed. Calling customer service gets you the usual “it’s pending for service” and they will not let you speak with anyone else regarding the matter. Twice the customer service representative hung up on me after voicing my frustration with having to pay for the system and an electric bill. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SOLAR FOR ANYONE. ITS NOT WHAT THEY SAY IT IS AND YOU WILL JUST BE STUCK WITH A PIECE OF CRAP WORTHLESS SYSTEM. ADT has the worst customer service. I spent thousands of dollars on equipment I cannot even use.
