Solar Tyme

SolarTyme was the company I chose to install my panels. As expected, I was being fed a line of crap to get my business. One of my original questions had to do with a generator being used for backup energy. I was told I would get a $1200 Generac generator for free. Because I am new to solar energy, I didn't know to ask about its usefulness. It never occurred to me the generator would not in any way be useful to my house in the case of power outages. Nope, it is absolutely worthless for household use. It might power the refrigerator, but that is it. Another issue was the insulation in my attic. Two different workers went in my attic to look around. Because I have never insulated an attic I have no way of knowing what an insulation blanket is. Therefor, I have no way of making up a story about being told about this blanket. When the install was complete I was expecting another someone to connect the generator and put in the insulation. When I checked back with the company I found out my expectations would not be satisfied. I say "Buyer Beware" these people are out for themselves and not the consumer. They will tell you whatever it takes to sell their product.
