Go with the best…

After making the decision to invest in a solar system for my new home, I researched companies. ADT Solar kept coming up as one of the best for everything from options to cost, installation to customer service. My experience has borne that out, and I encourage everyone to contact ADT Solar. And if you can, ask for Jamie Manwell. I got lucky when he came for a consultation. After getting a sense of what I needed, and then what I wanted, Jamie outlined my options. If you’re worried about a “hard sell”, don’t be. After making the case for why a single Powerwall would easily meet my needs, that’s what I went with. A few days later, I decided that it would be easier to install two than to add a second at a later date. A quick call to Jamie and the new order was completed within an hour. I was then contacted by Maria Barraza about the process for applications through the HOA, the city, and the power company, something ADT handled from start to finish. In fairly short order, I received a call to schedule installation. That was handled easily, and the two crews arrived on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up everything before leaving. (I think they even cleaned up after the construction crew working next door.) Maria kept me informed through the inspection/approval process, and when that was complete, I was told what to expect next. No process is ever without a hitch or two, and mine came on the homestretch. With the holidays, and everyone being so busy, the final “let’s get this baby turned on” step was taking a bit longer than expected. I reached out to Jamie to ask for suggestions on how to get this finished. It was early, on a Monday morning, and despite having appointments and meetings, he made the time to get it done. He even took the time to make sure I knew how to use the apps to monitor the Powerwall and usage. Choosing to go with a solar system is a long-term investment, so it’s important to work with people committed to providing excellent customer service at every step. Jamie and the folks at ADT Solar are those people.
