We signed our agreement with Freedom in May 2023. As of August 24, 2023, our system is not operational, our payments have started, and I'm still awaiting some concrete plan and schedule for Freedom to come repair the damage they did during their installation in order for my project to pass inspections. First, our sales rep Aaron James, has been great throughout the entire process. He has delivered on great service since we started speaking with him about getting solar. After signing, our project was off to a great start and moving along quickly. The problems started when we failed inspection. It was found by the inspector that Freedom negligently drilled through one of the trusses in my attic, causing damage that needed repair and sign-off from an engineer. In addition to this, some more minor items needed to be repaired, such as correct amp on solar meter and securing wiring in the attic. This all happened just before July 4th week. Since then, I have received next to no communication from Freedom on my project or when the problems will be fixed. When I stopped making progress on my own, I reached back out to Aaron (our sales rep) and he started to inquire within the company what was going on and what was causing the delay. Aaron was able to get me some answers and has been in regular communication with me, but unfortunately, he can only do so much. To get my project done, I need somebody in their operations group to DO THEIR JOB. I've been promised call backs to get status updates and the phone has never ringed. When I call for answers, their customer service reps based in Texas kindly state they have noted my file and asked that I be contacted. However, still I wait. Something is seriously broken with their operations group and support team once they get you signed up. I believe if their installers would have done their job, my entire experience would have been flawless and happy. Unfortunately, if you have a project with any hiccups, it will be a long, hard struggle to get adequate answers and resolution. I truly hope that my project is completed soon and I can benefit from solar. But until I get proper support and project completion, I cannot recommend Freedom Solar.

Johnathan, this is certainly never the kind of experience we want our customers to have. We want to make things right for you, but we don't see you in our system.
