Getting solar panels installed on your home...what could go wrong? Could your installer botch the site survey and undersize your system by 25%? Could the panels start malfunctioning, one after another, after another, after another, after another, after another? Could your installer refuse to honor their warranty and replace the defective panels, instead choosing to lie, avoid and deflect, only until on the verge of facing a lawsuit? Could your installer contact you to provide 'compensation' for all of the trouble they caused, then make it contingent upon removing bad reviews describing their performance? Could the entire experience turn into a complete and total nightmare, where you are left wondering once NEM3 and incompetence put your installer out of business, could you be left with defective solar panels and a worthless warranty? Don't make the mistake we did, trying to support local business, etc. - go with a group of professionals. This can turn into a day-in, day-out headache for the rest of the time you own your home. And if you are experiencing this yourself, as apparently many others have, don't waste your time trying to work things out through them - go straight to the lawsuit + file a complaint with the Contractor's State Licensing Board).
