Lack of Progress with no end date in sight

I signed with N R G in October, referred to them by our local electricity provider, Silicon Valley Clean Energy. Great initial experience, was told most projects take 2-6 months. Once the contract was signed, very poor communication and slow progress. Every step in the process is handled by a different person, and once you have completed one step, you are handed off to the next person and it seems like you are at the bottom of their queue. I'm coming up on 9 months and nearly fully paid - and still don't have an installation date - I'll get an email every few weeks saying that they can't find installers. Calling them, you'll get no response but voice mail. Emailing them - you might get a response in a week. Its like we're being held hostage - I can't make any real vacation plans due to waiting to know when the install will happen. Matt K, a reviewer in Alameda - we're experiencing exactly the same thing. Jessica in Alhambra - I hear you and have similar comments about Janet Medina. I am envious of those who post great reviews of this company - but I'm not seeing it.
