They were hands-down the best contractor/business that we have worked with, and we have worked with about 20 or so in the last 4-5 years alone, from all sorts of different trades. Megan was always thorough and prompt with answering questions. We didn't get the run around and felt that she addressed all of our concerns. We never felt like that were trying to push the sale. We got constant communication regarding when each step was going to occur well in advance so that we were able to adequately plan our schedule. They always arrived on time, from the consultation to the site surveys to the install and final inspections. The team entire team was extremely courteous, taking care to keep the work areas extremely clean. They always wore masks when inside the home because they knew we had a young child. The work was impeccable. They worked with us to ensure that everything was installed cleanly and discreetly (there was no extra conduit present on the exterior or interior of the house). They were mindful to preserve the clean aesthetic of our home, which we greatly appreciated. Even though they had to cut a small section of drywall inside to run some lines, which they told us well in advance, and it wasn't their job to replace the dry wall, they kindly cut a brand new piece of dry wall to cover the opening the wall so that it was easy for us to replace the old piece that was removed. We have an older home and the support structure for the roof is original to the house and thus is delicate. We spoke to Robert and he understood right away. They never used nail guns. They pre drilled!!! It sounds simple but no one does this even when we have asked. Even the roofers used nail guns and caused cracks in the original 1x6 sheathing boards! We looked in the attic after the installation and found not one crack. There was not one loose nail, screw or any debris left over when they were done. They checked with us if they had questions regarding how we wanted things to be done. It was clearly that they wanted to do a good job and they were not rushing through the job. Frankly, this is the best experience we have ever had with any business/company/contractor. We strongly recommend Sky NRG. On top of the exceptional experience we had with Sky NRG, their quote was competitive with other companies we look at in this area. We researched and spoke with other solar installers but we felt that they were trying too hard to sell their products and services without being able to completely answer our questions.
