Excellent Job by Sundial Solar

We met with Fuat late in 2020 and his presentation was superb. He gave us a comprehensive but succinct explaination of how Solar would work for us. He answered all of our questions and it was obvious that the answers were based upon knowledge and experience and weren't "fluff" answers. Fuat told us that it was doubtful that he would be able to have the install done before winter hit. In practice he was able to schedule the installation, but the day before the install, we had a heavy snowfall which made the installation impossible to do. Since Fuat had explained how little power is generated in the winter months, it was easy to wait till spring for the install. Again, Fuat gave us a realistic potential install date in March and the snow cleared in time for the schedule to be completed then. Fuat had warned us clearly about the time required by various parties to provide approvals and so when we waited for the town and Eversource to provide approvals they were received within the windows that Fuat had advised us to expect. On the day of installation the electrical team arrived and discussed the layout of the solar panels on the roof and explained the town ordinance restrictions. The chief Electician Shaun took the time to ensure that our wishes were followed. Rather than have conduits outside of the house, they ran the lines inside the attic and into our attached garage. Shaun also discussed where the solar meter and cut of switch should be and placed then so that they looked neat and well organised. The electrical team were quick, neat, polite, efficient, helpful and considerate. Before they left then ran a test on the system to ensure all panels were functional. They also gave us access to the monitoring tools. It was hard having to wait for town approval of the installation on sunny days, and hard again to wait for Eversource to swap the meter so that we could use the system. However, Eversource contrary to past experience, rang the doorbell and asked if I was ready to have the meter changed. He gave me a couple of minutes to shut down my computer and then swapped the meter when I said I was ready. Eversource then explained how to read the two way meter before he left. Fuat did a mountain of paperwork that I'm sure I would not have managed, and he did it with very little imput from us. He knew what to ask us so that as he filled in the forms, he already had all the answers. Fuat kept us informed regarding the process. We paid 20% with the signed agreement and the balance after the system had been providing power for a day and a half. Although this review is being written shortly after the Solar system went live, I am confident that in time it will prove that we bought the right system from the right vendor.
