All around disappointment!
After consulting with a couple of other firms, we selected Imagine for our solar installation. They had the lowest bid. Their rep came out and looked at out property and told us we had a great location...over 90% capture. We paid them over $17,000 to get the process started. We think that, having worked in our county before on properties similar to ours,and in our area, that the people at Imagine should have had a pretty good idea of what our county would require for a permit. After all, their office address is in our county. However, after over a year of applying for a permit, and having new hurdles thrown up by the county repeatedly, we finally gave up. We had been told at the outset that Imagine would keep a minimal amount if the permit process failed. Instead, they are keeping over $5,000 of our down payment. The rep that signed us had said it would be $1,000 to $2,000. We cancelled the job three months ago, and have yet to receive a check from Imagine. We're given excuses, with one department blaming another, but no check. I wish we had never gotten involved with this company. It's been nothing but frustration and disappointment!
