If I could give zero stars to George and Solar Source of Georgia I would and you would be best served to find another solar professional to consult and install your sun powered energy needs. George came recommended from a trusted friend and I wanted to support a local, independent, veteran-owned business. I initiated the project in early Aug 2019, purchased the equipment George needed by the first of Sep, and installation began at month's end. After continuous errors and mistakes by George and his installation team, he got me partially operable on my system by early Nov 2019. George never came back despite repeated assurances on his part to do so and I considered the project abandoned at the end of Jan 2020. I have since been left to work with another solar company to get me completely operational at significantly increased out of pocket cost. Overall I feel that George is a con and not a professional. He essentially built me the solar system he wanted me to have, primarily to mask his errors, versus the one I specified I wanted and paid for. George failed to accurately analyze the requested solar system and, once confronted with proof of this from the equipment manufacturers (that I had to ultimately reach out to), he was unwilling to explore any alternatives that altered his keeping the money he had already received. It is important to highlight that I felt that George would become very passive aggressive when confronted by any mistake on the part of he or his installation team. If something goes sideways he talked over me and my family, attempted to baffle us with technical jargon, tried to restate what he really meant to say or do, or would get outright angry and argumentative. As he tried and failed to deliver on even what he indicated he would be able to do he became increasingly agitated and aggressive to me and my family. Additionally, you should note that Solar Source of Georgia and George have little to no internet or electronic media presence which should be of concern. It fits with my perception of George's inability to be accountable for his errors or accept any feedback that is other than positive. Also, of the two solar companies I explored to finalize my solar system, both were familiar with other issues associated with Solar Source of Georgia and each had indicated they had repaired or completed other solar projects attributed to errors by George and Solar Source of Georgia.
