Solar Panel Installation

Never use this company. I had solor panels installed in July. I had 16 panels installed and as soon as I was given access to the monitoring software I could see that 1 of my panels was producing a 5th of the power of the others. I called them and they said yes the panel has a problem. It is now 3 months later and they still haven't replaced the bad panel. They keep telling me that they put in a request to the manufacturer to warranty the panel and I have to wait until they agree to warranty the pane. So they can install a bad panel and it's mine from that point on. FYI...I paid them the full amount so they could care less now about my system. I also have to constantly call them to see what their next excuse is. They never keep me in the loop about what's going on. Don't every give them all the money until you have proved your system is working.

Hello Mr. Brown, I'm glad we spoke earlier today. We 100% care about the 1 panel not performing as it should. Initially, we thought it might be do to the microinverter. So we troubleshooted for that, and had it replaced. When the issue remained with the panel, we put in a request with the manufacturer have been waiting on the manufacturer since. Unfortunately, they have not approved it to this point. As discussed, we will take a screen shot of the 1 panels under production, switch out the panel with a new one to see if that solves the problem, and then seek reimbursement under the warranty after. We apologize it has taken this long, and if that is the solution, then if this ever happens again, we will service the issue in this manner. Thanks again and we understand the reason for your frustration.<br />11/9 Update: We are glad to know there was no issue with the inverter or the panel as we had both replaced, but rather the sattelite dish on the house was shading the panel. Now that the dish has been relocated there seems to be no issue with that panel. Thank you
