My Name is Gary White & I got my PV Solar system installed in October of 2015. Owning my system for almost four years now I can confidently say I’m completely satisfied in making the decision to do business with PEP (Phoenix Energy Products) Solar. Picking a Solar company to install, monitor & service your system is nothing to take lightly. Therefore, I chose to write this review after having several years of service in order to provide an honest and accurate opinion of PEP Solar, as well as, solar in general. After researching & interviewing several solar lease companies, I was left wondering “why would anybody lease a system when they could own it outright.” That’s when I came upon & met with Sean Monaghan, the owner of PEP Solar. From the beginning Sean & the PEP team went out of their way to make my wife & I feel completely comfortable about the enormous financial commitment we were considering. They did not use high pressure sales tactics nor did they denigrate their competition. They just simply & tactfully took us to “solar school” by breaking down the technology, explaining the process, comparing the benefits of owning vs leasing & illustrating why they felt they were a best choice for solar in AZ, as well as, for us. Once hired, PEP kept me informed of each & every step. The installation process of my 5.1 kwh system went smoothly & on time. Now connected, I’m able to view my solar energy production online. My APS Equalizer bill went from $185.00/mo (at the time) to under $18.00/mo (except Sept, when credits run out). Going solar is one of the best financial decisions I’ve ever made! After about a six year payoff (RoI) I stand to save an “estimated” (due to many factors) $65-85K over the life of the system. Sean is passionate about solar! Not just because “he’s in the business” but because he genuinely believes solar improves “quality of life” by simply putting you in control of your electricity bill & allowing you to choosing how & when you use YOUR energy! Sean’s also a solar guru who constantly keeps up to date on all the industries technological advancements, wisely selecting & methodically incorporating them into his business. Lastly, but most importantly, he’s involved in & fights for political/legislative policy by advocating for the future of solar in Arizona. After four years I can definitively say that Sean, Bonnie & the whole PEP team are committed to customer satisfaction & will treat you like family! I’m still very impressed with the high quality products, fair prices & outstanding service this local & family owned company provides. So, weather you’re “going solar” for financial reasons, doing your part for the environment or wanting to gain control of an out of otherwise out of control energy future; I sincerely believe you could not make a better choice than going with PEP Solar for all your energy solutions!
