I judge a company based on how they handle problems. We had several problems: 1. PECO denial. PECO denied our original request for a 14KW system. Rob communicated with PECO and could not get them to change their minds without $1000’s for a PECO engineering assessment. PECO wanted us to reduce power, so we ended up with an 11KW system and Terrasol reduced our bill accordingly. 2. Old roof. We had a 22 year old roof. Rob would not install a solar system on this roof. I appreciated his honesty, so we had a new, beautiful, blue standing seem metal roof installed. Rob met several times with our roofer, Global Home Improvement, to locate three penetrations required to make the installation seamless. So, no additional roof penetrations were required by Terrasol. My roof warranty is intact. 3. Complex install. Three solar mounting locations were required as well as an additional 130ft trench to connect the garage to the main house. Terrasol work with an electrician to wire up the garage panels with the main house. The solar power wire had to be run from several two roof locations to the breaker box in the basement. For aesthetics, Rob worked with me in determining the most hidden way, installing a conduit through a closet, The system worked correctly the first time. My wife an I could not be more pleased. I recommend Sunpower panels because they are the best engineered and highest power producing panels on the market. They have one of the lowest degradation (most power production) over 25 years. The copper back plane on each cell makes this possible.
