The system works, however it doesn't reduce my electric bill a significant amount...not as expected. At night when my home uses the most energy, the system isn't producing. During the day when I use the least, it is. Between my "reduced" power bill and the monthly payment for the system, I'm actually paying more each month. The only real value in solar panels, is if you have a battery backup system attached. I'm also having trouble selling my home because no one wants to take over the payments on the system. What I thought would be a benefit, turned out to be a liability.
