I obtained proposals from 3 other firms. Kurt`s precontract work of designing the project was far superior to the others. He accepted and evaluated my ideas and revised the design based on my input. He provided a very detailed proposal and contract while larger firms provided little or no documentation detail.<br /><br />His cost was slightly better making the decision a "slam dunk" (It would have been hard not to go with Kurt in spite of a higher cost.)<br /><br />Project execution was the "icing on the cake". It was outstanding! <br /><br />I have managed construction projects for a Fortune 500 ccmpany. They found that often carefully selected small well managed vendors provide the best value in design build projects. I cetainly found this true in this case.<br />Purchase Incentive was 30% Income Tax credit. Lowest possible initial cost was desirable to obtain maximum power output for the investment required to offset my tax liability.
