<br />Innovative Power Systems originally installed 8.8 kW on the Science Museum of Minnesota`s Science House in spring 2003 and an additional 1.4 kW in spring 2007. In both situations, IPS was a subcontractor as part of an overall construction project. So the general contractor was responsible for obtaining building permits and arranging the final building inspection.
