So-so

We decided to meet with a Blue Raven sales person after they knocked on our door to find out more information.<br /><br />Melisa was great - easy going and flexible with meeting times. <br /><br />The first half of the process went quickly- from the time we agreed to solar to installation was 1 month.<br /><br />The solar was installed Sept 17 and the inspection by the city was scheduled for that Friday. <br /><br />The installation was rather quick. At the end of the day, the installers came down and said they made a design change - so now my solar panels do not match the initial drawings that were sent to the city and approved. Meaning I had to reschedule my inspection by the city. They are swamped - so it's not scheduled until October 17.<br /><br />So I've had thousands of dollars sitting on my roof for one month not doing any bit of work for me.<br /><br />On top of this- it turns out we've been paying interest on the loan for the past month. <br /><br />My issue is this- don't make a design change without asking the homeowner. Our sales person Melisa quoted “aesthetics.” If that was really a concern, blue raven could've spent more time up front doing proper planning and I bet they would've come up with this design in the first place. <br /><br />I'm beyond frustrated. I'm paying interest on a system that is literally sitting there- and aging. <br /><br />Another company was canvassing the neighborhood a few weeks after the panels were installed and asked me how they were working- it's funny- because I'd like to know too.
