Having made the decision to install solar on our new home in Fort Lauderdale, we went through an extensive due diligence process to determine what contractor to use for our project. We decided to go with Florida Solar One due to the companies' excellent credentials (fully certified engineers) and the full involvement of it's owner, Ray Johnson.<br />We were not to be disappointed.<br />After a thorough analysis (even involving drones) and feasibility study, Ray presented to us a step-by-step project plan with all detailed component specifications and pricing terms.<br /><br />The project was subsequently executed while we were on an extensive overseas trip.<br />During the period, Ray kept us informed step by step via email about the progress of our project (permit, panel delivery and installation). He even sent us pictures of the installed panels.<br />The project was executed exactly on the timeline as outlined and the project costs were exactly as budgeted.<br />Moreover, Ray was involved from the beginning to the end and made sure that the work was performed to the highest standards (all panels lined up perfectly, even new cables running alongside the house have been nicely hidden).<br />The system is working perfectly.<br />We would highly recommend Ray for any new solar installation. He has outstanding credentials and takes extreme pride in his work.
