Earlier this year we approached Energy Monster's for a solar system quote for our property located in Worcester. We considered a couple options including a lease type program offered by another company. If you plan to own your home for a while, the own vs. lease/rent is a hands down winner financially speaking. I suggest running the numbers and/or possibly speaking with your accountant before finalizing the decision. We found the sales engineer Dan to be friendly, patient and knowledgeable as he guided us through the sales process. Dan advised us on USA made panels that matched our roof color and suggested the addition of some snow guards to prevent snow from dumping off our steep roof line into the walkway underneath. Not sure how the guards work as we haven't seen snow yet but I appreciate the preventative suggestion. <br /><br />Eric lead the installation- from beginning to end the process took about 4.5 months. There were some delays during the installation- our town's electrical inspector was very particular and challenging to coordinate schedules with. So far, the panel configuration has produced the solar power as promised. We are able to monitor production through an app on our phone and we've seen our electricity bills disappear. Hope that continues into the winter months :). If you are interested in solar, I recommend you speak with Energy Monster and gather the information you need to make a decision thats good for your planet and your wallet.
