I typically do not write reviews but I just had to because this was the most hassel-free home improvement project undertaken to date. I am so happy with the experience because going solar was pain-free and must less problematic than I imagined. I received three quotes and went with the quote that suited my needs (lowest price was not the main criteria, but it did factor into my decision). I enjoyed the fact that I was never pressured or told that I needed to make the decision within a certain timeframe. VentureSolar took care of all the paperwork and the installer (Joe) and his two assistants arrived on time to install, the process did take an entire day. I am currently waiting on the inspectors from NYC Dept. of Buildings and then CodEd to change meter and turn on the system. Will provide an update in the coming months. I was always informed regarding what were the next steps and the possible timeframe. Working with any city agency tends to take a long time.*
