Intermountain Wind and Solar (IWS) was one of several companies we contacted in 2017 to receive bids on an end of "grandfather period" net metering agreement we had submitted. We ended up hearing from 3 companies. The responses, in terms of thoroughness, accuracy, timeliness and general support were a real contrast in customer care. Despite the extraordinarily tight schedule that late Fall installations entailed, and especially efforts by Rocky Mountain Power to deny our request, IWS personnel went way, way above and beyond the call to assure that our system met deadlines, that the utility company ultimately accepted our net metering agreement, and that we had a system that was rapidly and cleanly installed. Further, they made extra efforts to help us earn the tax credits as well as special installation incentives (e.g., radiant barrier insulation). I am particularly impressed with the sales staff I worked with, and namely Casey Winger. He and his colleagues have been the most professional and helpful business relations I have experienced in a decade in Utah. Though a demanding customer, they more than met expectations, including rerouting conduit when it was not situated as I wanted along an interior wall. <br /><br />Since installation, the performance of our system has more than met our expectations and the predicted results. The SolarEdge system works perfectly with the mobile app, allowing easy, realtime system monitoring. Tax credits were professionally packaged, and our CPA easily integrated them in our filings, resulting in credits issued as promised. Now, 6mon after the installation, I continue to be pleased that we 'pulled the trigger' on this system, and want to do something rare for me--praise a contractor, and make a special effort to let others know upstanding IWS is. No BS, this was a very, very positive experience for our family. Kudos, IWS!
