We are very happy with Solaroo's installation of 27 solar panels. They were professional and easy to work with. They kept us updated every step of the way. I would have given them 5 stars until I had my federal taxes prepared last week and found out the sales pitch they gave us about getting a rebate was not correct. <br />It's not really a rebate. It's a credit of 30% of the total amount of your system and it can take years for you to receive the full credit. You take the total amount of credit and subtract the amount of your taxes for the year. Depending on how much your federal taxes are determines how much you save in a given year and how many years it will take for you to receive the full credit. For example, our credit is $8,000. We are retired and pay under $1000 taxes for the year. So we get $1000 this year to put toward our loan. The same thing will happen next year. At this same rate, it will take us 8 years to receive our full credit of $8000. Our salesperson told us it was a 8k rebate that we could put toward our loan. He left out the part that it would take years to realize the full amount. People should know this before they decide on this big of an investment, especially if you are taking out a loan.<br /><br />**DISCLAIMER - Original review for Solaroo Energy**
