We talked with 2 other solar companies before finding Blue Raven. They both wanted full payment at either contract or installation. This seemed ridiculous to us, as you never pay a contractor in full at the beginning. Also, there is no incentive for the contractor finish the work. With the help of our salesman, Ted Hummel, he got Blue Raven management to agree to 3 payments: at contract, at installation, and third when Excel energy completes their meter installation and the system proves actually works. Currently we are post installation and pending City of Aurora permit approval, then Excel energy to put in their meter. Very good experience so far.
