I originally contacted Energy Consultants Group when considering the construction of a new home and wanted to add solar power to the project. I was very impressed with their knowledge of not only solar power systems but also the building of energy efficient homes. We ultimately chose not to build a new home but have added a 6.6 kW solar array to our existing house. ECG provided a very thorough proposal for a net zero system including the scope of work to be completed and a full analysis of power usage, rate of return, and estimated pay back period. Once we decided to go forward with the project, ECG completed all of the permitting both locally and with the power company, installed the system, coordinated all of the electrical work, and completed all of the final permit to operate paperwork. ECG also completed all of the tax rebate forms need for our personal tax filing.<br />ECG was a great company to work with, they communicated with us very well during the entire project and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a solar project.
