HARVEST POWER TESTIMONIAL<br />It all started about two years ago when my wife's friends on Staten Island decided to go solar. They told her how it was going to reduce their energy bill. My wife is always looking to save money. I like to save money too, but I don't like the hassle of changing systems or the risk of investing in new technology. I said “Let's wait and see if they save any real money, †and then I hoped she would forget about it. She did, for about a year and then brought it up again saying her friends in Staten Island were now only paying about $ 20 a month on their electric bill.<br />Now my wife wanted me to research solar companies on the web. Although I hate research, especially about anything related to science or technology, I sent away for information and soon had sales reps from different solar companies calling us. <br />We had visits from representatives from 4 or 5 companies. That's how we met the people from Harvest Power The first representative we met from Harvest Power was Michael Young Cho. He told us about the history of the company. We liked the fact that in addition to ten years of experience installing solar panels, they were part of a local, family owned construction company (Friendly Construction) which has been around since 1972. <br />We didn't sign with Harvest Power right away. There were more presentations from other companies scheduled, but, in the end, we decided to go with Harvest Power. For one thing, they offered the most attractive price by rather significant margins. <br /> We met again with Mike Cho and his associate David Whelan. They went over the proposals with us and answered all of our questions. My wife and I are not the easiest prospects/clients to deal with. We had a lot of questions and for every answer they gave us, my wife came up with more questions. A lot of emails went back and forth, and there were revisions in the proposal. Through it all, David and Michael were very patient and managed to retain a sense of humor. They never tried to push us or pressure us into signing. <br />Once we signed, they had their people check out our house to make sure if the original proposal would work for us. We liked knowing that we were dealing with one company. The entire installation process was handled in-house by the professionals on The Harvest Power staff. They designed the system and processed the permits. They made whatever revisions necessary and explained them to us for our approval. <br />We want to compliment the team that did the actual installation. My wife works from home, and they were very considerate to do the job as quietly and unobtrusively as possible. They got everything up quickly, neatly and efficiently. Through it all, Dave Whelan kept popping in and out, to make sure everything was going smoothly, and to show us how to set up the app to monitor the effectiveness of the system.<br />We can't tell you what our savings on the electric bill have been yet, as our panels were installed less than a week ago, but we look forward to reporting the savings over the next few months. <br />In conclusion, we would highly recommend Harvest Power to our friends. They know what they're doing and are a nice bunch of people to do business with.
