WORSE SOLAR COMPANY EVER! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUED!

If I could give this company anything lower than a 1 star rating, they would deserve it! Me and my co-owner were looking into solar pannels and went through a few different companies to compare and found a third party company that was going to put us with either Sunnova or Sun Run. So we went with Sunnova. We went through their process, had our roof looked at etc. <br /><br />When our application was passed to Sunnova, within a few hours on the same day, they sent an email "Cancellation Requested accepted", both myself and the co-owner just looked at each other in confusion. So we called them to find out why we received this email. They said that they couldn't determine which roof was ours and we had to provide a deed to the property to show we owned the property. At first, we weren't too happy and didn't just want to hand over personal information, but after speaking with our third party company, they reinsured us it was ok and had us send over the deed. So we got another email saying "Welcome to Sunnova". Again, a few hours later we got an email "Cancellation Requested accepted" and we called our third party company again. Our third company party was baffled on what was going on so they were going to try and get things straighten out for us. So we decided to call Sunnova ourselfs and find out. <br /><br />When we spoke to a representative, they said they could not tell which roof was ours. We explained to them that our property is it's own identity and it states that in the deed. The property is even separated by a fence in the backyard and to top it off, the shingles are 2 different colors (because our house is a townhome/duplex/twin which ever you want to call it but it's 2 separate houses split with a separating wall), she then told us that they would not do it because we needed to own the property next to us. Which is a load of bullshit! Our neighbor who lives 3 doors down from us, has the same exact house model and was able to put solar pannels on her roof. So we were then told that their "zoning" agent would need to look at the information and make the judgement weather it could be done or not.<br /><br />NEVER HEARD FROM THIS ZONING AGENT! I question weather one even exists in that company. Between myself and my co-owner as well as the third party company, we were all given the run around and told we would get call backs and explanations etc. Not once did we ever get a call back from this company, not once did we ever get an explanation that wasn't idiotic nor did we ever hear from a so-called zoning agent. Months pass and they still offer the same excuse that they can't tell between a roof that has green shingles and a roof that has gray shingles but we still need to own the next door property. For the hell of it, we asked the representative, do you rent or own? She said "I rent" we then asked "do you own/rent the property next to you?" She said "no, because I only live in the one I rented"....mind-blown EXACTLY! SO WHY THE HELL WOULD WE BUY ANOTHER HOUSE RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO THE ONE WE OWN???<br /><br />This company has some serious mental issues and anybody considering them, run...RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM TGIS COMPANY! It's no wonder why they are going out of business soon and if they tell you they aren't, they are lying to you. Don't trust this company, look into Sun Run or other companies, stay away from Sunnova.
