Don't fall for 24/7 monitoring

Do not fall for 24/7 monitoring it does not exist. I have 50+ panels installed for just over 2 years with nothing but problems. Down mulitple time for months and Sunnova never once detected a issue as described in their literature. Currently down again this time for a month+ and once again no detection. You have to call, they open a ticket for their operations department who may or may not get back to you. <br /><br />If you still feel the need to do business with this company, ask for their definition of 24/7 monitoring in writing because t's clearly a different then consumer.

Sunnova as you requested : SYSTEM ID 009JL3. <br /><br />Please explain your process for monitoring a dual inverter system. If one goes down 30+ panels and the second 19+ panels is still working system is producing but not as it should. What/how do yo detect these failures. Please don't go to your generation guarantee, The guarantee is sold to consumer that system will be operational and able to produce not sit on your roof unable to produce for half a year. <br /><br />Electric company charges a non-utility generation charge of $40 a month. So Sunnova bill monthly, systems unable to produce and stand on guarantee production gives me back less money then I paid Sunnova. End of day I pay monthly for solar that does not work and is not monitored, Electric company charges more for non-utility generation, Sunnova Guarantee pays .09 per KWH not produced and eventaully I have to pay to remove panels when roof needs to be replaced. Should be a class action suit against this company and Solar should be subject to lemon laws.
