I just finished a lengthy conversation with Jeff Landes, a Solar Spectrum sales rep. I was curious about the costs and possible savings of installing a solar system at my home. I told Jeff that I was thinking of selling my house in the next few years, so I was not very optimistic that I would save much money in that amount of time. Still, Jeff spent a lot of time working with his staff to find out what my costs nd savings would be. He and his staff located an aerial view of my house, looked at my electric bills for the past year, then accurately determined what my monthly costs would be. After all of the calculations, Jeff did not pressure me into a sale or try to manipulate the numbers to make it look like I would save any money. If I knew I would be living in my house forever, I would have probably seriously considered having Solar Spectrum come out and draw up plans to install the system.
