Very satisfied customer. Bill Clay and his crew from Solar Power Pros installed a 35 panel 9.8kw system on my home Dec/Jan 2017. From the first contact through the last, they were always responsive, professional and did exactly what they said they were going to do with no unpleasant surprises. You know, just what you expect in any contractor. I got bids from 5 solar contractors. I told every one that this job was being bid out to a number of people and they should give me their best bid upfront because there would be no negotiation. 2 of the 5 lowered their bids after I told them I was going with Solar Power Pros. One of them even lowered their bid a second time to what Solar Power Pros bid but told me, 'they'd be losing money on the job'! Right. That's why they went into business, to lose money on jobs. Solar Power Pros pricing was not the lowest, but it was close. Their pricing is very competitive and it was much lower than a few of the bids I got! Bill, the owner himself, showed up for the initial sales visit. I wanted a micro-inverter type install and he was very familiar with that. I was concerned about a clean symmetrical look on the visible parts of the roof and they were able to accommodate that. They put the panels exactly where and how I asked them to. I'm a big DIY'er. I was considering doing this job myself. But, in the end, these guys were able to do the job for not a lot more than I would have spent on my own. Plus they finished on time in a matter of a few weeks (in the winter, working around weather) where it would have taken me a year! Highly recommend these guys. System has been up and running now for 20 months and is producing slightly more electricity than advertised. I haven't had an Xcel bill, where I've actually used any electricity, since February 2016. In 20 months, my meter has run net backwards over 4500 kWhrs. Size a system that will take care of all your electrical needs and have Solar Power Pros install it for you!
