My system has 2x the Sunny Boy 5.0 inverters. Synergy offers multiple choices, this was mine primarily because I wanted the 2x 2000W outlets if the grid goes down. I also wanted DC down to a central inverter. This is how most systems are installed in Europe, and the SMA inverter is German Engineered, and I am German. I also considered my good neighbor who is a Ham Radio nut. He is furious over putting inverters on each panel as they create RF noise for his radio, especially he says of the Chinese brands. Yes, the SMA only comes with a 10 year warrantee, but the reliability data for users is 2-3 times that, and my guess is technology with solar is going to be something where I will upgrade in 20 years anyways.
