My roof top installation went up in November 2015 using 50 x STL140. Two panels in parallel and Solaredge's thin film optimizer. As a first time self installer, I couldn't be happier. I have not seen any degradation, in fact I think they performed better this year than last. They have produced above name plate rating on several occasions. The relatively small size of these makes installation and any future maintenance easier, but cost a little extra in mounting hardware. You can't beat the modern looks of these, they are completely black and blend in a lot better than most silicon panels. Also, glass on front and back should provide longevity. Made in USA and I like the simpler concept of thin film solar.
