I moved to an area where being connected to the power grid turned out not to be an option and we turned to a solar with 9 panels, an inverter and power controller. I had some real doubts and the weather has not been helpful with nearly a month of cloudy days in April. Having said all that we have had enough power every day with no back up generator running a several loads of laundry a 230 Volt well pump and a large refrigerator plus all the lights and normal things in a small house for two people. Couple days were close when the sun hadn't been out for almost a week but we remained up an running throughout. I'd give a higher score but I have only lived with the system for a month although it has been up during construction of the house for 4 months. Everything the company said has been true so far and the work was done on time at the price as was quoted.
