We did plenty of research. We knew exactly what we wanted- a good product, a great warrantee, and a company that would stand behind it all. We were pretty skeptical that any one company who sold panels in our area would truly be better than any other. We figured, yadda yadda yadda, everyone says they are the best and will give you a better deal than competitor x, buying is better than entering a 20 year deal with a vendor who is essentially using your roof for their own profit, give us a song and dance... Blah blah blah, whatever. AND THEN THERE WAS RICHIE. He knew his product, he knew the market. He knew the fine print. He was straightforward, no nonsense, fun, informed, respectful, and professional every step of the way. And he was even funny. But we were picky. And skeptical. This is our home, and we didn't want to poke holes in our roof and go into a ton of debt because we were charmed into a slick deal that could maybe help save the planet, lower our overall energy costs, and assuage our hippie consciences. We got five more estimates. We did even more research. We crunched the numbers. It was painful. We really wanted to prefer their top competitor in our area, A local coop. They did come in a teeny bit less for exactly the same product. We wanted to go with the contractor who built our home, because maybe they would be more invested in doing it right and keeping us happy. We tossed and turned for weeks. We came to the ultimate conclusion: yep. RICHIE WAS RIGHT. REVOLUSUN DOES COST A LITTLE MORE, BUT IT'S OK BECAUSE THEY REALLY ARE AS AWESOME AS THEY SAY THEY ARE. No, really, they are. We signed on...and in 11 weeks, we had panels that were powered. They team walked us through every aspect of the contract and financial process. They answered every phone call and every email and every text. The installation crew was professional, efficient, clean, and respectful. They even played with our dog. They were composed, diligent, and informed when they were challenged by us or by local inspectors. Every utility bill since then has been negative, and we've started to save the planet. We are thrilled with our decision.
