We chose NECE among several others for their strong reputation with other customers, which we found in online surveys. Something like 80-90% were very satisfied including customer service, vs. more like 30% with other, larger firms. We know some of the employees there personally as well, which creates trust. We paid a much higher price for the quality of service. We liked Roy our sales guy, although at times we lost touch with him while looking for updates and information (in his defense, everyone in the industry in MA was waiting to hear whether the state would extend the SREC program, and there was a month or two when everything was on hold). The install went ahead as scheduled without significant delays, and we were up and running within a week or two after that. The handoffs from sales to installers were sometimes not as smooth as could be, more of an irritant than a real concern. We sometimes had to wait a week or two to hear from someone, but overall we stayed on schedule and were very satisfied, and would recommend NECE to anyone.
