Working with Cosmic Solar to install a solar panel system on our home was a pleasure and a satisfying experience.<br /><br />From the moment we contacted them by phone, Mary, at the front office, made sure that a sales rep would contact us soon. Within a couple of hours that day we heard from Jose, who made time on his schedule that same day to come to our home, do a site survey, and explain in detail everything about the system they could install for us, their warranty, and also about their responsiveness if any maintenance or repair issues were to come up after installation.<br /><br />We had already done our homework on other installers in the San Diego area, and Cosmic Solar quickly confirmed to us why they are so highly rated by their prior customers: they are super responsive and professional, thorough, very knowledgeable about the solar panel business, and very much treat their customers with the utmost respect. We had already obtained 6 other quotes, but Cosmic's proposal beat their competition in key areas such as: System cost per watt, number of panels to go on the roof, and total project cost; not to mention that they are local to the north county area and with more than 10 years in business.<br /><br />The terms of Cosmic's contract proposal were simple and straightforward, so we went ahead and decided to purchase a system to own, as opposed to leasing. Cosmic also provided us with referrals to reputable lenders for the financing. Despite how busy they were, they worked hard to schedule our installation as early as possible. Throughout the entire process they made us feel like we were their only customer, with their personalized and caring customer service. They took care of filing the project paperwork for successful approval with our HOA, and securing all the city permits. They also file all the other paperwork with SDG&E to get our account set up for net metering. They provided us with copies of the work plans and the package submitted to the HOA. We were pleasantly surprised, when nearly one month before the scheduled installation date, I received a call from Mary telling us that they could install our system that same week on a Saturday. This was great news that we would get our system installed early, but also allow me to be home during the installation, which they required.<br /><br />On the day of installation, Pey and the installation team showed up on-time. Pey did an outstanding job in explaining to us everything they would be doing, and how and where the system would be set up. They performed flawlessly, and in less than one day got everything installed and ready for inspection by the city. They cleaned up and left no trace of debris or anything in or around the house. The panels look great on our roof! We love the fact that we don't see a single conduit, cable, or anything anywhere on the outside of the house, as they channeled all the wiring directly from the roof and through the attic and into to the garage. The panels appear almost flush with the roof, and just look awesome; such a clean job! Pey and the installation crew were just the nicest people. No wonder Cosmic Solar gets such high marks in reviews.<br /><br />Three days later, we passed the city inspection with the flying colors, and two days later got the e-mail from SDG&E to activate our system. What a gratifying feeling it is to see now that during the day our electric meter shows negative numbers of our excess produced electric power going to the SDG&E grid.<br /><br />We can't say enough good things about Cosmic Solar. In all of our years dealing with contractors, they remind us of what good-old american customer service is all about. Their professionalism showed in everything they did, and we have nothing but praise for them. We wholeheartedly recommend them without any reservation. These are good people doing good work.
